Italy - Rome Part 2

Here are some more pics of our stay in Roma..



We came across these reddish oranges a number of times..



Smart cars are everywhere..



There are even more mopeds!! They're everywhere.. swarms of them.. If u can survive crossing the street in Rome, u can probably do it anywhere.



Hmmmmm..



I don't remember where this was, but we stumbled upon it on our bikes.





Here's another one of those statue people.. This man/woman/thing was perfectly still. I was hoping someone would drop money so I could see what it does..



I really enjoyed the diversity of plant life in Rome..



This was part of a large park on the northern end.. It had very large ducks!!











The inside of a random Cathedral.. can't remember which one.





In this picture we were sort of lost.. and for some reason I insisted we climb this flight of stairs. Yes I know it doesnt sound like me..



This is what we found at the top.. I'd love to meet the owner.



There are ruins everywhere in Rome.. Its neato finding some in the middle of busy urban areas.. Although I'm sure that doesnt help with preservation.. I noticed that quite a few cats were living in these cordoned off ruins.





The height of the Roman Empire..

We were told off for eavesdropping on a tour guides' monologue on the history of the Colloseum.. then we contemplated sneaking inside the arena, since we saw other people doing it.. but I wasnt in the mood for getting another fine.
